Acceleration of IT-Driven Transformation: Despite the shift in focus, a remarkable 85% of UK developers acknowledge the past two years have propelled their companies’ emphasis on IT-driven business transformation. A significant 74% claim a full seat at the decision-making table.

Fragmentation and Silos: 44% foresee organizations becoming increasingly fragmented and siloed.

Challenges in Collaboration: 36% of UK developers point to organizational silos hindering a comprehensive understanding of IT. Additionally, 38% note that business counterparts often prefer engaging IT vendors directly for solutions.

Workforce Evolution: 80% of UK developers stress the need for a workforce comprising more business-savvy IT professionals and IT-savvy business professionals to navigate change successfully.

Technological Solutions: Respondents believe technologies like low-code development (47%) and artificial intelligence/machine learning (46%) can tackle resource and business engagement challenges, allowing organizations to achieve more with less.
